Æ, æ （古英语： æsc ，现代英语： ash ，发音为 [æ ʃ ] ）是丹麦语、挪威语、冰岛语、法罗语的一个字母。这个字母在以前的英语和法语中也有使用。

在丹麦语中，这个字母排在字母表的第 27 位，表示 / ɛ / 或 / ɛ :/ 音。（这里好像显示不出来，就是反写着的“ 3 ”）

在挪威语中，这个字母排在字母表的第 27 位，表示 /æ/ 音。

在冰岛语中，这个字母排在字母表的第 31 位。

在法罗语中，这个字母排在字母表的第 25 位，表示 /a/ 或 / ɛ a :/ 音（这里显示不出来的同上，也是反着的“ 3 ”）。

在英语和法语， æ 多用在一些从拉丁语中借来的外来词，如法语的 et cætera, tænia, ex æquo 和英语的 archæology, encyclopædia, nebulæ, athenæum 等。在现代英语中，多由 ae 或 e 所取代 ，如 archaeology 或 encyclopedia ，但仍有专有名词的孤例保留，如《大英百科全书》（ Encyclopædia Britannica ）。

在国际音标中， [æ] 音表示次开前不圆唇元音。
