爱思英语编者按：这是一座城堡，我们都叫它"幻想城"。它在哪里？也许是飘浮在无垠的空中，也许是深埋在广袤的土地里。没有一个人进去过，但是它常常出现在每个人的梦里，有时停在触手可及的地方，有时落在遥遥的地平线上。微风抚过，檐上的铜铃轻轻摇摆，清脆的铃声悠悠荡起，飘进了聍听者的心里。

It is a castle we call "Castle of Fantasy."  Where is it? Probably floating in the sky, or deep down in the vast land.  It is inexorably shut to everybody but keeps emerging in everyone"s dream.  Sometimes it dwells where it can be easily accessed, sometimes falls on the skyline in the far distance.  The bell hanging from the eves plays gently to a light breeze, sending liquid ringing into one"s heart.

夜幕降下来，"幻想城"微微地开始泛光了。缓缓地，忽明忽暗，和着漫天星斗，越发地深邃、神秘了。一缕象牙白如烟的光悄悄从城顶升了上来，扩散着，交织着。仿佛看到鱼儿在浪中嘻戏；鸟儿在云端飞翔；百兽在原野奔跑；小虫在田间鸣叫。光慢慢膨胀着，像正在长大的孩童。

At nightfall, the Castle of Fantasy starts to gleam. Slowly, it flickers with the twinkling of a canopy of stars, appearing all the more profoundly mysterious. A beam of ivory-white light steels up fleetingly from the top of the castle. Like smoke, it spreads and merges into itself. Entranced, I see fish playing in the water, birds flitting past cloud tips, beasts of all descriptions racing down the prairie, and insects chirping in the field. The light turns heavy, like children growing up quickly.

Suddenly the stillness of the lake water mirrors a cloud dropping out of the picture, like a deep cut into the background of noise and disarray. Flowers are blossoming quietly, smiling charmingly on the light and shade.

万条光柱从湖底升腾了起来，刹那间，风云涌动，波光粼粼。光汇聚成一条长龙，蜿蜒盘旋，威风凛凛，它的身后展开了一幅无以言表的景致。光此刻显得愈加的耀眼了。空气中弥漫着一股势不可挡的力量。

A fascinating interplay of light and shadow are reflected up through the lake, and, all of a sudden, winds are driving clouds across, scudding water is glistening in the lake. The rays merge swiftly, turning into a long, awe-inspiring light dragon, winding along, leaving in its wake a breathtaking play. The light grows more dazzling in an instant. An irresistible power is diffusing the air.

忽来一阵风，烟消云散，梦醒了。留铃音在耳边回荡。

A gust of wind wells up, dispersing the mist and haze into the depth. It is but a dream. I wake up. The ringing bell would always stay… so peacefully clear.
