I am a fox that turned fairy
through a thousand years" practice of black magic
A thousand years" hard work
A thousand years" solitude
On deep nights did anyone hear my wailing?
Amid the waning light did anyone see me dancing?
 
I am a fox that has waited a thousand years
Waiting a thousand years,
lonely a thousand years.
Through time who has planted the venomousness of love?
Amongst crowds who has drunk the love potion?

While in love with you, I saw you poor and working hard
in pursuit of academic success;
leaving you, I saw you happy with glory,
and thrilled in your wedding night
 
May I beg to dance for you one more?
I am the white fox you captured
a thousand years back and let go.
I am dancing, gracefully and indulgently for you

Which vanished only too soon.
