《阿凡达》哈利路亚山惊现张家界

Whether they are they inspired by Huangshan or Zhanjiajie"s famous peaks, the visual spectacle of the Hallelujah Mountains in "Avatar" needs no debate.

有的人说《阿凡达》里头的“哈利路亚山”的原型在黄山，有人则说是张家界的某座著名山峰，不论如何，这一道美丽的风景线不容置疑。

Officials in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province have renamed one of their famous mountains in honor of James Cameron’s movie hit “Avatar.” The peak, formerly known as the South Pillar of Heaven, will now be called Hallelujah Mountain.

而现在，中国湖南省境内的张家界景区将著名的“南天一柱”景观更名为“哈利路亚山”，以示对詹姆斯·卡梅隆科幻大片《阿凡达》的纪念。

This isn"t just a tribute to Cameron"s genius. The officials who renamed the peak explain that the “striking tall and craggy formations in the area served as the inspiration for the floating mountains seen in the film.”

这一更名，不只是对于卡梅隆的巧夺天工致敬。根据官方解释，更名“哈利路亚”的真正原因是“此景区高耸入云、陡峭的山峰，是影片中漂浮山头的原型”。

However, while a Hollywood photographer did visit the park in 2008, Cameron said the peaks in his film were inspired by the famous Huangshan mountain range in Anhui province.

蹊跷的是，2008年确实有一名好莱坞摄影师到访改景点，可卡梅隆却坚称片中山峰的造型来源于安徽省著名的黄山。

"Avatar" has so far made around $80 million in China, and has become the country"s most popular film in boxoffice history, so it is unsurprising that Zhangjiajie is trying to capitalize on the film’s success.

《阿凡达》目前在中国已经取得八千万美金的票房好成绩，已经一跃成为中国有史以来最受欢迎的电影，这么一来张家界急不可待想要借机造势之心也就昭然若揭了。

In addition to changing the peak’s name, the Zhangjiajie government, as reported by Jing Daily, now also offer "Avatar"-themed travel packages. This will bring more tourists to Hallelujah mountain as well as other (non-"Avatar"-related) touristdestinations in the area, including Yuanjia Jie, Tianzishan, Jinbian Xi and Huanglong Cave, according to Zhangjiajie’s tourism director Song Zhiguang.

改名还只是一个开始，据相关媒体报道，张家界政府还推出了“《阿凡达》主题旅游套餐”，旨在吸引更多游客前来参观所谓的“哈利路亚山”，顺便为其它景点带来流量。

Reuters also reports that Zhangjiajie branch of China International Travel Service Corp (CITS) is now offering a Magical tour to Avatar-Pandora as well as a Miracle tour to Avatar’s floating mountain.

张家界中国国际旅行社更是开出了“《阿凡达》潘多拉神奇之旅”和“《阿凡达》漂浮山头奇迹之旅”两条线路。

With Spring Festival right around the corner, they couldn’t have picked a better time.
