Television and radio presenter, Gloria Hunniford, 69, has graced our screens and airwaves for more than 30 years, and is canny about dressing with elegance without spending a fortune.

She says:” Even though I like to keep myself up-to-date, I"m not out to make a huge fashion statement and I"m quite a traditional dresser.

I like to look sophisticated and comfortable. Tailored, neat clothes suit me. ”

Television is very unforgiving, so big billowing sleeves or flared skirts would look ridiculous on me.

I"m a terrible hoarder because I like rediscovering old favourites.

I"ve got eye-watering dresses and coats from the Eighties with shoulder pads that, even given the current trend, you couldn"t get away with.
