源自拉丁文 flamma, flame, burn 火焰，燃烧。

flam - 这个字根比较好记，记住 flame ( 火焰 ) 这个简单的单词就可以了。

flagr - 这个字根就有些难记了，不过，可以这样记哦：

「 旌旗（ flag ）红（ r ed ）似火（ flame ） 」 。

★ flam e  n. 火焰 v. 燃烧，发出火焰；面红

源自拉丁动词不定式 flare （ to blow 吹气 ）的动名词 flatum的词干 flat-。

注意哦，flare的词干是 fl-。您应该见到不少以 “fl”开始的单字都有“blow”的涵义吧。

-flat- 这个字根蛮好记的。

球里的气吹（ blow ）出去了，当然就变扁平（ flat ）了。
